Send and Receive

Day 152 – June 1, 2018

All-Time Favorites – WPC ( Day 3 – 5th All Time Fave)

After a weeks worth of posts with the topic of my daughters graduation, it has finally come, and now, with her diploma in hand, I am sitting here having just looked through 730 photos to decide my 5th favorite photo. Obviously I had to pick my fave of my daughter.  I had another to choose from, but I really like how you can see the ball mid flight and the pitching form.  Even that little bit of sand that was kicked up as she pushed off her plant foot.  This photo was an entry for the WPC for May 20, 2012.  The topic was Hands.  The link to the original post is here, should you care to look (do not feel obligated!)  And I could not complete todays post without a photo of tonight’s grad ceremony. That is at the end of this post.  I have to admit, I went to the daily prompt page to check what word I needed to work into this post.  That was really uncomfortable.

This photo below is the graduating class (she went to a very small school) as they prepare to receive their diplomas. I really loved the reflections cast off the two layers of gloss black clouds.

  1. Congrats to your daughter on her graduation. What a proud moment for you, and for her after so many years of hardwork. Certainly a moment to remember Lovely pitching shot too. Looks like she likes to be active and have fun with some sport 🙂

    1. Thank you so much! Yes, it was a very proud moment but also very sobering. Just knowing that was the last one made it bittersweet. She did enjoy softball and was athletic, but she was much more into dancing. Really appreciate taking the time to visit and leaving the comment!!
