Day 143 – May 23, 2018

Assumption – DWP

I am not going to lie.  I am habitually late to well whatever it is I am suppose to go to.  I have been on time enough for others not to totally give up on me, but if the assumption is that I will be late, I will not disappoint you.  This is why those that know me will often plan a meeting time with a buffer. And depending on how important the activity is, or how far I have to travel, will go into how much buffer I will be given. The funny thing is, I don’t purposely say to myself that I am going to be late.  I don’t go out of my way to slow things down so that I will be.  I just, at least I think, I hate to rush.  Everything is always moving at light speed.  And I suppose I just value spending that extra time I think I have, finishing whatever it is that I am doing.  I think this might be a part of the procrastinator in me.  Always putting off things that I have time to complete, focusing on what needs completed right now, and dealing with what ever is next.  Talk about living for the moment.  If that’s what you want to call it. 😬 SO yeah, me on time? <insert title of post here>

    1. Thank you for the link! That was awesome of you. I read #metoo, and I felt it was inappropriate to like it, but your story left me completely stunned and angry. I am so sorry you had to go through that. But based on what I have read on your blog so far, you are an amazingly strong, courageous woman. There really isn’t much else to say, except thank you so much for sharing.

    1. Exactly, that’s what I’ve been trying to say but no one listens! I have always featured 3 random blog posts that I read and enjoyed from whatever challenge I use for the day. Yours happened to be one that I liked, and wanted to share. I hope that it’s ok. If not just let me know and I’ll remove it. It’s kind of my way of paying it forward since so many have helped me along the way! And I try and give them a “subtitle” that works with their (your) post (keeps me creatively fresh, lol) Thank you so much for taking time to read and respond!

      1. by all means, share away! I am flattered is all, because you were the very very 1st person to link any of my posts. I’m honored that you liked my post enough to share, and feel free to do so any time! I like that featuring 3 people a day idea, and today I actually featured 2 in mine. I think I shall do the same, thank you for the inspiration! It lets people know that you are actually reading their stuff, which is what a writing community is all about!
