Bridge Over Troubled Water

Day 107 – April 17, 2018

Fret

I really was fretting today trying to figure out what to post.  My first thought was using the frets on my guitar, but my guitar has been the subject of a couple of recent photos.  So I decided to go with this.  This is the Toms Creek. Toms Creek is a tributary to the Monocacy River.  The Monocacy River feeds the Potomac River that finishes the voyage at the Chesapeake Bay.  Toms Creek has actually been the subject of my 365 a few times over the past 2 projects.  It has also made an appearance once already in this 365.  But the thing with Toms Creek is that it runs right along the main road where I live, but it is more of a small creek here.  But where this photo is taken (about 5 miles south) it opens up into this much wider “creek”.  I am not sure what constitutes a creek and what a River, but this can’t be that far off.  Something I will be looking up after I finish this post.  This creek has caused a few days of road closures, which is one of the main ways out to the highway, due to flooding.  I am also fairly certain that it is this continuous erosion of the banks, that lengthens the width of the creek, and threatens the trees that are already precariously perched along the banks.
