Day 76 – March 17, 2018

This was not an easy prompt to capture. In fact, I pretty much was almost going to give up and just go with a St. Patrick theme.  But then I remembered that incubate isn’t just about chickens, or the medical or scientific definitions of incubate.  So I focused on that.  Now the story.  I built this shed almost 14 years ago.  I think there are many who would not believe that this was still standing, and not just standing, it still has a solid floor and absolutely no water damage.  I can say that I was pretty proud of myself for it. Little did I know that Miss Redhead already had an idea incubating.  She, along with her father, began to put those ideas together.  I will some day find a photo of my shed in its original state, but I can tell you this. The lighter outlines of the wall exterior once had trim running around it.  The double doors were, in the beginning a make shift barn door that lost its strength a few year into it and had been replaced by heavy tarps.  The two side windows did not exist, EXCEPT I had framed the inside with a window in mind. The arched window up top, (I know there is a name for it) did not exist. And last, you cannot see it but, door on the other side. I built that shed to just store decorating stuff, sports equipment and the lawn mower and other garden tools.  But thanks to HGTV she has made it into her little potting house.  Man cave no more!  OH yeah one more thing. I was nominated for an award!  It’s the coolest, most humbling thing to have happen.  Thank you so much H.P Kahin, I am very grateful.  Find reasons to smile!

Have some fun yourself with the daily prompt

PROMPT PICKS of the day!  (If anyone can tell me how to make the space between these links/sentences I would so appreciate it.

She did what I was going to- and nailed it.

  1. Ok, if there are two tabs on your screen somewhere (your writing area), View tab and another one HTML tab. If you could find it, you can click on html tab and put this tag where you need a line break. I hope you find it useful. Good Luck!
