Dog Paddling- B&W Sunday/ DWP (Meander)

Day 70 – March 11, 2018

It is my Black and White Sunday, and just to kill a little time I searched for other possible black and white challenges that would help my overactive imagination to focus on a couple of ideas.  I found this B&W vs Color photo challenge that intrigued me, and then I wanted to find a way to incorporate today’s daily word prompt, meander.  Now I know that if you follow the BWPC link you will see that they used an example of a dog.  And while I found it to be very well done, I swear my idea did not stem from that photo.  It is not uncommon for me to take Anastasia on little trips, because she is a wonderful copilot. On my way back from the store there I picked up a few things, with Anastasia joining me, I decided to stop at our local park.  There are a 2 maybe 3 streams that converge into one, each of them meandering their way through the park.  I tried to capture the shot I wanted of the convergence of the streams, but the results weren’t totally desirable.  So with Anastasia in hand, and of course she being one of my subjects to shoot (even if she is not the best at sitting still) I was able to capture her with one of the meandering streams behind her.  This was a really good moment that allowed me to come away feeling some things that have slipped away recently.  Do hope for a great week for all!

I am trying to get more consistent with celebrating others works, so please check them out!

This one is worth the trip

This one is just super sweet

What I wouldn’t give to be here

It would be so easy to spend time here. I probably wouldn’t remember it though.
