Race to the Finish

With Time to Spare

My son was required to do an English project over the summer in order to be enrolled in his honors English class. For the past few weeks, he has been under endless badgering reminding him of how much time he had left and to get reading or get typing.  Today was the deadline, and with much relief he actually finished last night with time to edit and finalize.  When I dropped him off to deliver the report, one of his friends just happened to be turning it in at the same time, and they both raced in to the school to deliver.  I just like this picture more, knowing the story behind it.  August 2, 2012
