A Hole in the Ceiling

A Light Ending

So it was a pretty cold, windy day today with plenty of clouds.  The typical cold winter day that we are known for, but haven’t quite seen yet this year.  It is funny how Old Man Winter will lure you into a false sense of security and then whap you upside the head with a fresh reminder that he is still in charge.  This shot is very reflective of my day as well.  Kind of gloomy and cold, but yet it ends with a little light breaking through.  Enough to keep you going. And realize that spring is still just around the corner, and that old man will have to go back to sleep at some point.  Sometimes getting out to take these pictures can be therapeutic, in more ways then one.  February 12, 2012
