CV Day 332

Breaking Dawn

Driving to work today I noticed the early light of dawn struggling to break through what looked like some very dark rain clouds. And as I drove down the hill on 16 (140) toward Emmitsburg, the atmosphere put on its show.  I had been thinking that it was going to be the last time we would see daylight for a couple of days, as the weatherman said that we were in for a few days of rain.  But today turned out to be a glorious day.  I noticed the silhouette of the church really stand out against the morning sky and I knew I had to stop and get the shot.  It took a few, but I got the look I wanted.
